  As per Schroth (2019) we've got a new generation hitting the workforce that's totally different from what managers are used to. Main problem?  Gen Z kids have way less work experience than previous generations did at their age, plus they're dealing with more anxiety/depression and have been shaped by smartphones and social justice movements.  They're coming in with high expectations but limited workplace skills.  The article doesn't just complain about the problem though - it actually gives practical solutions:  be super clear about job expectations upfront, create detailed onboarding processes, teach communication skills directly, and provide more emotional support than you might think necessary.  There's good evidence backing up both the problems (higher anxiety rates, less work experience) and the solutions (growth mindset approaches, coaching techniques).  Bottom line: Gen Z is different, but if you adjust your management style - especially aroun...
